Sertoma – a funny word most people don’t recognize in Alaska. SERvice TO Mankind. But, I’m really not surprised since the Mat Su Sertoma Club is the first to be founded in this great state. The Sertoma International roots go back 100 years and have a strong history of commitment to hearing health and volunteerism.
It is my pleasure to serve at the Mat Su Sertoma Club President this year. As the charter President, it gives me a great sense of pride to know we can withstand storms, thunder and lightening and still be willing to go golfing in the rain!
Please come join us the second Thursday of every month for some good fellowship, a current word about our community, and opportunities to volunteer to aide those around us.
We also have hearing screens the first Saturday of each month from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Wasilla Physical Therapy located next to Geneva Woods off Seward Meridian.
We are a committed group of folks who love to SERVE. For those who wish to volunteer – there’s Sertoma!
