The members of the Mat-Su Sertoma club are grateful to the Mat-Su Health Foundation for their generous sponsorship of the 2017 Mat-Su Sertoma’s Club Mat-Su Plunge on February 25, 2017 at the Palmer Elks Lodge on Bogard Road. Proceeds from this 10th annual event will support the club’s continuing mission to support hearing health in the Mat-Su Valley through education, hearing testing and support of services that assist individuals with deafness and hearing loss.
Our 2017 Non-Profit Grant recipient is the Alaska WildBird Rehabilitation Center, and our 2017 Student Summer Camp recipient is Alyssa Akers, a senior at Colony High School, who will be attending a special summer camp for the deaf and hard of hearing at Gallaudet University in Washington, DC.
